John Moxley

I am currently a junior at the University of Georgia in the Terry College of Business as a finance major. At this time, I am pursing internship opportunities in the finance industry for the upcoming summer of 2014. I plan on using the knowledge and experience gained from the internship to help guide and further advance my professional career. The top three disciplines of finance I have a keen interest for are investment banking, wealth management, and corporate finance.

I am originally from Augusta, GA and I currently reside in Athens, GA. I graduated in the top 10% of my class from Lakeside High School in Evans, GA which is considered a school of excellence in the state of Georgia.

At a young age, I realized the importance of my education and strived to achieve academic excellence. As I pursued my goals, I had to overcome numerous obstacles to be where I am today as a student and a person. I believe being a financially independent student has pushed me further in my academic success.

As I head towards graduation and the start of my professional career, I believe I will leave the University of Georgia not only as a young professional with a bright future, but as a better person all around.
