Jaclyn Ramirez
I am a student in Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. I will be graduating in May 2015 with a BBA in General Finance and a minor in Accounting. I am currently an intern at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas in the General Accounting Department.
In my spare time, I volunteer as a Tax Preparer with the non-profit organization, Foundation Communities, who prepares tax returns for low income families. I also incorporate volunteering for Austin Pets Alive! on the weekends, to give back to the organization that heroically saved my dog so that I would have the opportunity to adopt him 3 months later.
Outside of volunteering, I enjoy being outdoors with my dog (Riley), family, and friends. I enjoy any and all kinds of sport activities, which is where my competitive side thrives.
Having recently traveled to Europe for my first time this past summer, I have a personal goal to continue to travel throughout my life and see the world as I have a fascination with different cultures and people.
I am interested in business and helping people and have focused my academic and professional activities on pursuing a career in such a field.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or want to chit-chat about business life, opportunities, puppies, etc. I'm happy to oblige!
Thank you for visiting my page.
