Jenna Rehm
My name is Jenna Rehm and I was born into a family of Georgia Bulldogs. Because my brother and sister went to the University of Georgia I always knew I was next in line to attend the best school in the country. I grew up in Kennesaw, GA but eventually moved to Canton, Georgia in the 7th grade. Surprisingly, moving to a new school at this young age was probably one of the best things to ever happen to me. During this time, my mom always told me that moving would teach me lessons about how to deal with going off to college when I grew up- boy, was she right! It taught me to not be so shy all the time, but to rather be more outgoing towards people I may not even know. I was told this was important because one of those people could one day mean something very special to me. Because of this, I knew what it would be like in the future to (hopefully!) go off to my dream school where I would have to meet all new people. Although I thought this move would be the end of the world, it was truly a lesson in disguise.
In high school I was known by friends and family to be a hard worker with true dedication for any task laid in front of me. I was constantly working hard in hopes that it would one day lead me to places I had always dreamed of. When I found out that I would be officially attending the University of Georgia, I felt so accomplished. What made it ten times better is that I found out while spending a weekend in Athens with all of my family! Because I have always had big dreams to one day attend the University of Georgia, this was a huge deal for me. Getting into my first choice school was definitely the icing on the cake to a perfect weekend in Athens. I knew I had big changes ahead of me, but it was really a great feeling. Thankfully, moving in 7th grade had prepared me for going off to college or else it would have been a huge shock for me. Moving away from home to UGA was a scary, yet fulfilling experience. I have learned so much about myself in the process of becoming a college student and I am proud to hold my place as student 810 364 6420. To some, I may only be known as my student ID number, but to others I am Jenna Rehm and I am making my mark here one step at a time. Being at UGA has lived up to my expectations and I could not be more excited for my future here. I cannot wait to persue my goal as a dual marketing and sports management major and show UGA who I really am. Like they always say, "It's great to be a Georgia Bulldog"!
