jmsepe has always been fascinated with the idea of construction. Growing up, he used to play with lego and build towering and massive structures. His mother even once noted that in a market, he would always stack cans of sardines together as if they were building blocks of a supertall. Utilizing the current resources, he would play with cars creating highways from books, seaports from encyclopedias and use toothpaste boxes as cargoes. Although a decade after, the legos and the unorthodox gameplay might have bid goodbye but his passion for change and creation remained.

Born in July 20, 1995 in Valenzuela City, Philippines, he is now a third year student at Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan in Cagayan de Oro City taking up a degree in BS Mathematics. In line with this, he is also an active student and enthusiastic leader having positions and representations in more than eight different organizations across and outside the campus.

jmsepe is also a journalist, debater and public speaker who had represented his high school in several competitions. He is also well known for his investigatory projects and researches having the record of winning eight years straight in all campus based investigatory projects competition he attended and had represented his city in three regional competitions. In 2009, he made history by becoming the first elementary student from Cagayan de Oro to win the National Science Fair in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Currently, he is active in co-training students in their investigatory projects.

His pastimes and hobbies include writing in both fiction and non-fiction prose in which he maintains a blog and a fanfiction account. He is also an avid Japanese culture enthusiast who likes anime, manga and J-dramas. Finally, he is also into simulation game which includes Simcity 4, Sims series, Cities:Skylines and Nobunaga Ambition.
