Jim Munchbach
Houston, Texas
Hi, I'm Jim Munchbach and I've been a small business Pioneer since age 10 when I launched The Cinnamon Toothpick Store in Lansing, Michigan. By 5th grade, I earned $2000 annually by cutting grass, raking leaves, and shoveling snow.
Before the Internet existed and long before the first podcast was produced, I launched a small business based on dependable service, referrals, and a recurring revenue model.
As a Media Distribution Specialist (PaperBoy) I was the youngest associate to earn the regional sales leader award for the Lansing State Journal and the Detroit Free Press.
By age 15, I was a sales professional with the skills to get, grow, and keep great customers who loved "one stop shopping", wanted to do repeat business, and were willing to refer their friends. Those same principles and skills drive my business today as a Certified Financial Planner® and State Farm agent.
These days you can find me wandering the halls of the Bauer College of Business at University of Houston where I teach Personal Finance. My goal is to teach students how to become a millionaire by age 50.
When I'm not on campus or seeing the world with my wife Connie, I'm at my State Farm agency in Houston, Texas or recording a new audiobook in my super-secret studio somewhere in South Texas.
I'm the founder, owner, and CEO of The Social Business Authority, a web syndication platform designed for Sole Proprietors, Family Limited Partnerships, and Limited Liability Corporations. I provide strategic business planning, financial life coaching, and risk management consulting services for small to medium size business owners.
