Jonathan Neo

Student and freelancer in Australia

Ever since I was a little boy, I loved solving puzzles and building all sorts of things with Legos. Fifteen years later, I am still the same person at heart, with the same burning passion for problem solving and creativity, which I hope to use to help non-profits and businesses solve some of their biggest problems.

I am a second-year Finance and Economics undergraduate at UWA, and I believe finance is the cornerstone to making any decision – as a business or as an individual. To expand my insight and understanding of financial decision making, I have taken financial courses at university, enrolled in self-study courses, analysed businesses in an investing club, and avidly read the Wall Street Journal.

I hope to use my knack for problem solving and creativity in a career such as management consulting and corporate finance, which rewards consultants for finding unique solutions for the client.

I am in a very fortunate position to be able to receive a world-class education at UWA. However, people in less developed parts of the world don’t have the opportunity that I have, and so I make it a priority to give back to these communities.

Feel free to connect or say hi to me. I enjoy meeting like-minded individuals and sharing ideas on making the world a better place.
