I'm a curious person. I like to know and understand everything that surrounds me. When I was a little girl, I asked about all I was looking at, a painful experience for my parents, who always supported me, as they thought questioning was the first necessary step to improve.
This attitude, could be the reason why I chose my professional academic path in Information and Documentation. At the starting point it was very attractive, mostly as I didn't know anything about it!
Currently I'm a graduate in this discipline from the Universitat de Barcelona, additionally I have a Book Seller post graduate degree at the same University and now I'm enjoying the discovery of two related specializations, Content Curation and Film Researcher, which I'm studying at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
My wish to learn and discover has pushed me also to work and experience different scenarios such in: a library specialized in chemistry (IQS), a library specialized in audiovisual contents (EMAv, my current work), in archivistic contents (MNAC), at a book shop (NoLlegiu) and also in a Documentation academic web networking project at the Universitat de Barcelona (PolDoc Hispànic). My inquisitiveness also made me cross the ocean and have an internship at the Hispanic Society of America (HSA) in New York where I learnt a lot.
I don't know exactly where I will finally settle, but I have still a clear objective to learn and enjoy as many projects I can in my academic field.
PD. I'm studying korean (a new challenge!)
