Hello and welcome to my about.me! The purpose of this page is to give you some insight into who I am, what motivates me, and how that affects the way I approach life each day. You can't define a person by facts and figures-- my gpa, work experience, and campus involvement are just accomplishments. Even though they are indicative of the type of person I am, that's just a tiny glimpse of the overall picture. There's no substitution for getting to know me in real life, but hopefully my about.me page gives viewers a better understanding of who I am and what I'm all about.

I've had a very comfortable, almost luxurious, life growing up. My dad is very successful in his role in corporate finance and has been able to provide my family with the lifestyle that we want.
But that doesn't make me complacent... That makes me work harder.
I want that for myself.
I consider myself extremely driven to be successful financially, but it's not the money per se-- it's what the money can provide. I've seen what my dad has been able to provide for me, my brother, and my mom, and I want to be able to do that for my family. I want to pay for my children's education. I want to give my wife the freedom to stay at home with the kids and do what she enjoys. Not only that, but I want to do it on my own terms through my own hard work. When life gets rough and I start to doubt myself, this is the motivation that keeps me going.

"Success comes from having the diligence to push yourself past your comfort level on a consistent basis."
In one sentence, this depicts how I approach life and plan to be successful. Everyday there are so many hardships that can deter me from my goals. Do I have the self-restraint to keep myself focused on my priorities? Diligence. Complacency is one of the strongest inhibitors of growth. If I want to get better at something that I've already been doing, then I know I need to work harder than I've already been working. I need to continuously push myself past my comfort levels to reach new limits and set new boundaries. And more than anything, I need to stay commited to these result-producing activities everyday.
