I am particularly interested in popular culture, media convergence, web 2.0 and social media; science communication; science in popular culture and on the web, science and religion, evolution and anti-evolutionism, science governance, citizen science and participatory culture, research and science policy, research ethics, science journalism and science in the media, experts and expertise in public, science education, open science and open access, knowledge landscapes and bio-objects.
At the moment I am studying online video-sharing and its implications for science communication, and science and pseudoscience in popular culture.
