Joakim Kempff

innovation officer in Stockholm, Sweden

Already at the age of 16 I knew I was going to be a director of commercials at Mekano Film, the most awarded production company in Sweden at the time. At the tender age of 23, I was the youngest director of commercials in Sweden, still working for Mekano Film - still the most awarded production company at the time.

As the world had more to offer I started a CGI animation studio in 1995 called Commando Royale, breaking the Scandinavian grounds of 3D-animation and in 1997 created a sister company called Commando Screen Media Agency, combing motion graphics and interactive solutions. The company managed projects for Nokia and Ericsson visualizing the future of smart phones.

At the same time I studied Account management at Berghs School of
Communication.

By 2000 I sold his part of the companies and was hired by investment firm Novestra, known for their successful investments in Framfab, E-trade and other digital startups. My role was to create sustainable business models for the portfolio companies. Among
many things he led the development and implementation of the first mobile network e-portal.

In late 2002 I became partner and CEO at Dallas Sthlm, with a focus on evolving TV-network branding. 10 years later his role is account manager/creative director, making sure the agency delivers engaging user experiences across all screen-based media for clients such as IKEA, Swedish Match, Spendrups, LRF and SailRacing among
others.

Today I spend my time exploring new and exciting ways of creating effective and exciting communication experiences for clients at Publicis Media.
