A DPsych candidate at the Metanoia Institute (MDX Uni) with a special interest in online counselling.

Having worked in the area for over 10 years - privately, in the 3rd sector and in 2 higher education institutions, I guess I am one of the few people in the country to have this breadth of experience in developing and delivering bespoke online counselling across a range of settings (including policy & procedure in line with legal and ethical frameworks).

Currently engaged in online counselling research, which leaves little time for my love of gardening and, on the opposite end of the spectrum - playing warcraft.

As I begin to critically appraise the writing of others, it seems only fair that I begin writing more myself, not only as a means for practise, also, to open myself up to the comments of others about how I present myself and my work. I would be happy to recieve any feedback from you :-)

Luckily, I have good family and friends who understand that appearing the in 5th paragraph before getting a mention, in no way minimises their importance in my life - if it were not for them, my life would not be as rich nor my humour as sharp. You keep me grounded and encourage me on simultaneously - I don't know how you manage this - and I thankyou for it.
