Joan Aniano

Matawan, NJ

An accomplished choreographer, Joan Aniano's work has been seen in over 6 schools and 13 productions in both New Jersey and Massachusetts. With both a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ as well as a Master of Arts in Theatre Education from Emerson College in Boston, MA, her experience spans beyond the stage and into the classroom. She completed her education degree as a student teacher at the Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill, MA, which was designated a model school for 21st century learning by the National Association of Independent Schools. While there, she taught numerous cross curricular lessons in theatre, drawing, set design, literature and music, for grades 5-8. She currently lives in Matawan, NJ with her fiancée, and is a voice and dance instructor for VoiceWorks.
