I graduated from Olin College in Needham, MA with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, I went to work for Raytheon as a Manufacturing Engineer in Forest, MS, where I became the site subject matter expert on surface mount processes. However, I realized that I am a big city girl, and Mississippi was not that.

I next went to work for Quorum Business Solutions in Houston, TX. I thought this would be a good opportunity to gain some programming skills, consulting experience, and get the opportunity to work with clients on improving user interfaces. While I was able to learn programming, there were no opportunities for consulting or improving the user experience.
