I am a freelance editor working on several projects related to copyediting, testing, and developmental editing.

My most recent position was with Apress, an imprint of Springer Nature.

There I researched a given market and reached out to qualified and talented developers and techies to create learning content (books, blogs, videos, etch.)

I interacted with a team to bring to market content designed to help people and teams meet their professional and personal learning goals.

My most recent area of focus was on Microsoft tech, but over the years I have published books related to data, open source, AI, and security. Prior to joining Apress in NYC, I worked for Pearson in Boston.

Early in my career, I worked with several emerging and start-up technology companies in San Francisco and Seattle. That adrenaline-fueled experience taught me a great deal about business, myself, and how to work with colleagues in an intense environment. I also learned that adopting a flexible mindset and being open to wearing multiple hats, builds character…and skills.

I love the outdoors. I can walk, bike, hike, or paddle for hours. I enjoy traveling to remote places with my kids, the immersive kind, where you get to hang out with locals and experience regional cuisine.
