Joana Silvestre

I was born and grown up in Porto!

I've graduated with a main goal – to get my financial independence! There was neither a pre conceived career nor any pre established academical purposes

I knew what I wanted...to depend on me and above all, to be good in anything I would be doing.

My professional "journey" starts in 1991 as secretary...it was definitely not the aim, but meant my independency at 21 years of age!

Since then and until 1994 my responsibilities have gradually grown and widen

In 1994 I have my first experience on sales, mainly in the back office and later on in the front office. It was then time to acquire and deepen my knowledge. I decided to graduate in Marketing Management (IPAM)

3 years later I was leaving the company where I had given my first steps on sales and joined a new challenge...For over 10 years I have been Key Account Manager in the artificial leather industry. This experience has allowed me to overcome barriers, scares and grow up professional and personally and definitely led me to the position I'm now as Sales Representative of one of the European Leader Distributors of artificial leather for the furniture & decoration trade.

Fairly extrovert, love a good sense of humor, a bit impulsive, love the challenge, new experiences, travelling...I do love LIFE...AND DRAWING IT WITHOUT RUBBER!
