Joan Weston Guriras, a born native of the United States of America, has an extensive history of accolades and achievements that precede her. Her work in the community and the church has indeed left a mark in today's world. She has been a citizen of Namibia for many years and has and continues to serve the country well. She has and still holds positions of leadership on various boards, committees and trust and to that she remains humble and gracious.

Joan maintains a posture of meekness and has a heart for God and His people. She is actively involved with women's prison ministry, intercessory prayer, The Way Youth Ministry in which she founded and oversees a motivational speaker and is a dynamic and anointed teacher of the word of God. Her heart and passion for the things of God is infectious and she inspires women of all ages to allow God to use them and to not let circumstances stand in the way of fulfilling their God-given purpose.
