Joanie Coyote

Joanie Coyote is an all around creative type. As a stand-up comedian, she has worked with some of the top comics in the country and entertained our troops overseas in Japan and Korea.

Joanie got her degree in costume design and has designed for plays in New York, Houston and Los Angeles as well as for film. She worked on Broadway as a dresser for Les Miserables and Most Happy Fella and at Parsons Mears as a first hand where she made costumes for many acclaimed Broadway productions including Phantom of the Opera and Miss Saigon.

Joanie now teaches History of Costume and 20th Century Designers at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles and continues to perform comedy in LA. Her latest passion is art. Check out her Instagram site for updates on the latest projects.
