Joanie is a motivated Bachelor of Arts and Mass Communications degree with honors candidate at Louisiana State University. Joanie seeks to learn and understand how best to contribute to the Journalism and Political Science field through gaining experience in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Denver, Colorado. She has demonstrated skill in graphic design, news writing, public relations, campaign work, photography, editing and is excited to see how she can use these skills in application to the realm of the mass communication and political science field.
Besides her hopes and aspirations of obtaining a college degree and applying it in the work force, Joanie enjoys running, riding her bike, yoga, skiing, volunteering and traveling to new and unexplored places.
