My name is Joanna and, among other things, I tweet for a living. Amid many of my friends and acquaintances are the social media skeptics, who have a mild to medium distaste for what they believe to be over-glorified "statuses" in a hyperconnected world. Through my work at Pew Internet, I like to show, through data, the impact that social media and networking has on American life -- the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful.
