My name is Jo Shaw. I am in the final stages of my PhD in neuroscience and cell physiology. I am using a novel ratiometric calcium sensor to investigate the effects of amyloid beta on presynaptic calcium levels. So I have interest in cell signalling, calcium microdomains, neurodegeneration, presynaptic plasticity and behavioural models of memory. I am currently in the final stages of my degree, writing up.
