Joanna Yeo

I'm inspired by nature's wonders: the amazing diversity of animals and plants, and their many untold stories. As a Natural Science Educator, I help bring students out of their comfort zone through hands-on learning with nature as their classroom.

Things I enjoy doing:
Catching and studying bugs, wandering into forests, mangroves & intertidal zones, travelling to volunteer at the Bornean Sun bear conservation centre- just to name a few. In the past, I've done tech & food writing for e27 and Makansutra respectively. I'm still writing at present, but for the purpose of communicating science in a fun & approchable manner to the masses.

Background: Me chilling in my own sampan at Kinabatangan River, Sabah.

I can't wait for my next adventure!
