Bio: Welcome to my Anne's Attic - design .com! Thank you for stopping by! I hope that you will look forward to my weekly postings. I enjoy Interior Design, crafting, sewing, cooking, beauty care. I am the proud Mother of 1 daughter and 3 sons and of course 3 lovely daughters in law, with 11 grandchildren. Being a Grandma is awesome, if I knew how awesome I would have had them first. They call me Grandma Jo. I tend four of my grandchildren ten hours a day five days a week. A huge challenge, but it helps keep me young.

I believe that having a lovely decorated home is enticing to the spirit and that loved ones and friends enjoy their stay because of this feeling (of course with good food).

My idea for decorating is less is more. I have a formula for my decor in my home 50% French Nordic design + 50% Shabby Chic design = Romantic Farmhouse. I'm sure that this accounts for my Swedish, Danish heritage. I change my beautiful vintage and antique finds in and out often.

Photography is the next long term progress project that I need to learn. A new camera would help but until I can purchase the one I want it will have to wait. So I hope you will get the just of the idea through the camera I am using now.

I found my self single after 35 years of marriage and disabled. I said to myself what do I do? I can't just sit around and sulk for the rest of my life just because this is where I didn't want to be at the age of 60. Yes I said 60! But life is good and yes someday I want to have a sweetheart to love (anyone know a good man?) and be my best friend. But for know I have to make the best of life.

I live in a darling basement apartment in Bountiful Utah. My youngest son Nathan and his family live up stairs. I'm not big about living alone. But it gives me two homes to decorate!

In my blog I will touch on just about anything that comes to my mind such as seasonal decorating, sewing, craft projects, gardening, baking and cooking, and our beautiful state. I am a Sensitive En-path. I will touch on that as well.

Creating for me is essential! It feeds my heart and soul. It is apart of who I am. My love for time worn and tarnished treasures such as antique and vintage finds soothes my soul.
