Joanne Codner is a highly skilled professional working in the field of Health and Safety.
Joanne began her career as a Environmental Health Officer in Birmingham City Council, the largest local authority in Europe. During her time at Birmingham, Joanne investigated everything from local restaurants to industrial premises and spent time working alongside police officers, customs and excise and trading standards in Birmingham’s famous nightspot, Broad Street. After five successful years in the public sector Joanne joined Morrisons PLC as a Group Health and Safety Officer. In this position she has looked after stores from the Isle of Wight to Halifax and currently she looks after in excessive of 100 stores as the Group Health and Safety Officer for the Midlands region. During her time at Morrisons Joanne has become well versed in manual handling equipment and pedestrian/vehicle safety.
