Hailing from Kuala Lumpur but currently residing in Sydney, this bubbly pop-culture enthusiast is constantly seeking new challenges in her life to keep her inspired and stirred.

It all started in a major recording label one might know called Sony Music Entertainment. She began her impressive professional journey in Marketing and Media Relations for International Artistes and slowly evolved within the company by taking in more roles such as Talent Management, Digital Media and Business Development.

But that wasn’t enough for this globetrotter.

Having made her mark in the music industry, she went on to tackle Event Management and even scored herself a gig at a TV Network (MTV ASIA). A thrill-seeker at heart, Joanne decided to take on freelance projects during her free time. Managing content creation for arts and music events like Festival Belia Putrajaya 2015, Urbanscapes 2014 & 2016, marketing event for MTV Asia (MTV World Stage 2014) and artist liaison for Freeform Untitled are just some of the impressive job roles she has under her belt.

These days, Joanne has chosen to embark into the digital world by monitoring and managing a beauty and lifestyle blog called Buffer Daily – a side project she founded with her best buddy.

Her zest for taking on new and exciting career challenges, however, does not stop her from spending time with family and friends, looking out for new cafes and restaurants to satisfy her culinary cravings and making travel plans to fulfill her wanderlust.
