ABOUT ME…
When I set-out to become an accountant, I didn't see myself in the big corporate world, I wanted to work with SME owner/managers bringing life and meaning to the numbers.
Since qualifying, I have also gained an MBA, which has helped make me more aware of the relationships between the different elements of a business.
As a freelancer I am now doing exactly what I set-out to do.

I have worked in manufacturing, printing, hospitality, media agencies, professional services and a little forensic accounting.

I want to help other budding accountants by sharing my knowledge and experience, so I have developed FD Plus One. I source a full-time finance graduate or trainee on your behalf. I support, guide and direct them, whilst giving you the benefit of my expertise at a strategic level. This dynamic combination usually costs less than your average finance manager. I am an Excel guru/geek, having used it since it started. I design bespoke, secure, user-friendly spreadsheets tailored to your specific needs. I also teach from beginners to advanced.
