Joanne Bamberger

Joanne Bamberger is an author, journalist and political analyst who is the founder and editor-in-chief of PunditMom, one of the few sites around with a focus on politics and current events through the lens of motherhood. She is the author of Mothers of Intention: How Women and Social Media are Revolutionizing Politics in America (Bright Sky Press 2011). A journalist and attorney by training, Joanne is an expert and frequent speaker on topics related to the increasing use by women of online and social media tools for political and economic advancement. Joanne was named by Working Mother Magazine as one of the Most Powerful Moms in Social Media, but she still can't figure out how to harness that power to convince her family to help out with the laundry. Joanne lives with her family in the shadow of the nation's capital, but dreams of the day when she can find the perfect little beach house in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
