I definitely wasn't born with a passion for law. I was always a science geek being fascinated by how everything worked and fit together. My passion for law developed as I gained life experience and maturity. I grew to love and value our country for it's legal and justice system and admire not only how it has saved lives, reunited families and brought comfort and solace to victims. But how it grows and adapts to our changing society. This blossoming interest combined with my love of science drives my reasoning to pursue a career in law. So here I am starting my path on a Graduate Diploma Law (GDL). Exciting times! Before I commenced the course I went on a learning rampage to glean everything I could about what I was letting myself in for and to make sure this (rather expensive) route was the route for me! I hope my blog will help other future lawyers who haven't made that leap to better consider their options.
