Joanne Gonzales (whose name is identical to at least a thousand people in Facebook) works as a Team Leader for a BPO company in the Philippines. She earned her BA Communication Arts degree from the University of the Philippines (U.P.) - Los Banos in 2008 and is now trying to win her second degree--Master of Development Communication, from the U.P. Online University. She is a regular office employee from Mondays to Fridays, an MA student during the weekends, and a sleepyheaded homebody in between.

Prior to managing a group of proposal and web writers in Filweb Asia, Inc., Joanne was a radio field reporter for "Wanted sa Radyo," a public service program hosted by Raffy Tulfo and Nina Taduran. She was also a customer service associate for Convergys Philippines and a practicumer for Philippine Daily Inquirer, ABS-CBN, and Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Outside the office, she is a frustrated band vocalist (see her Youtube page for proofs) and an active member of the Lectors and Commentators Ministry of their parish since 2005.

When she's not torturing herself with a pile of editing tasks, she secures herself with the love of her family and her pet dog Chippie. She enjoys wandering, watching free tutorials and webinars on YouTube, and taking random photos on Instagram. She is also inseparable from her three white Samsung gadgets and her "methyl salicylate camphor + menthol." She doesn't mind being alone, for as long as she's connected to the Internet and supplied with buckets of mashed potato, siomai, and french fries.

When all her phones are drained, she would daydream about driving her own car, designing her own house, and managing her own training school. She's also a huge basketball fan and a big supporter of anyone who never gives up. She believes in the saying that "life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain."
