Joanne Graham

Joanne Graham is a well-known wildlife artist. Her technique for creating art has earned her the praises of artists and laymen alike. Joanne does not use brushes. Her lifelike portraits of wildlife subjects and people are painted utilizing her fingers as her only tools. She creates her works in soft pastels, which are pure color pigments. Joanne was most recently commissioned for the 2009/2010 California Upland Game Bird Stamp Encore Edition. The California Department of Fish and Game had discontinued producing the stamp after the last of State, also done by Joanne Graham in 2007 and will now be calling this second series the Encore Edition.
