Jo Anne Meekins

I am is a native New Yorker, who started writing narrative poetry at the age of 12. In 1993, I founded Express Yourself Creations and specialized in personalized poetry. I also provided desktop publishing services for the purpose of helping others to convey their feelings and represent their image in an authentic, effective and professional manner. In 2009, I founded Inspired 4 U Ministries, LLC, to provide inspirational products, services and information that inspire hope, strengthen faith and increase self-awareness. Inspired 4 U Publications followed in 2014 with the publishing of my 3rd book, "How to Self-Publish in Excellence within 10-Days."

In addition to being the author of 7 books, I am an Empowerment Publisher, Coach and Speaker, whose survival credits include rape, betrayal, fear, loneliness, and divorce.

I am on a mission to
1) Empower Women to speak their truth out loud, value themselves, and BE victorious over unfavorable circumstances and situations;

2) Assist Writers to publish projects in excellence; and

3) Support Entrepreneurs to manage web content, and create products, documents, and promotional materials to enhance their services and brand.

My background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Mental Health from New York Institute of Technology; Certificates in Poetry and Journalism from Writers Institute; Communication Skills from NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies; and Spiritual Life Coaching from Destiny Coaching Academy. She also has 7-years of corporate work experience as a Policies & Procedures Writer for Healthfirst, Inc.
