This is a place to let down one's hair. I will not try and sell myself here as a performer/songwriter/teacher ... I will tell you how inspired I am by the fact that I hear clean ocean's roar from my doorstep here in Humboldt County...how grateful I am that I still get to sing and write songs (it's been 30 years!)...how excited I am that I am passing along what I know to a daughter who awes me every day...how I am learning (as I grow up) the things which matter most...letting go of things which I once considered paramount...and it all boils down to what my daughter told me yesterday:
"Soon
This moment will be gone
And what did you do with it?"
