As an educator at Stocklmeir Elementary School in Cupertino Union School District, I thoroughly enjoy the process of learning! There are so many opportunities to gain new insight from my students, the students' families, my colleagues, and the community! The world is full of diversity and there is never a dull moment that I cannot learn from!

This school year will be my 23rd year in education. I received my National Board Certification in 2008 in Literacy. I renewed my National Board Certification and the professional development was just as challenging, yet very rewarding! I will continue this wonderful journey as a NBCT to challenge myself to try new endeavors to better this amazing profession!

My goal is to be a positive role model as a life-long learner to my students and seize every opportunity possible to better my craft! It's a lot of heart and hard work to be an educator and learner, yet so rewarding that I wouldn't change it for the world!
