Joan Timmerman

I was born in Greenwood SC August 22,1961. I have 9 brothers and sisters, a challenge at times but i would not trade them for anything. After moving around a bit, I ended up in Abbeville SC at the age of 12. I attended Wright Middle School at which time I joined the band and I was in the Color Guard. I first learned how to sling flags around then guns and then i also learned the Scotland Dances around the flag poles! What an experience, I traveled around the state in different band competetions, and I also marched in Jimmy Carter Inaguration parade! After Graduating high school I married and have two beautiful daughters. I divorced after 10 years and have since been happily married to a wonderful person and friend Richard Timmerman. We have a grandson who is 5 and is all boy! I enjoy playing with my grandson, traveling, family get togethers and riding my motorcycle in my spare time. I am a memeber of the American Legion Riders group, and Patriot Guard Riders group. I have worked at the Highway Dept for 10 years, i did road tests and also was the CDL Coordinator for the Greenwood and surrounding county area. I have been in the Real Estate Business for the past 13 years. I opened my Real Estate company 11 years ago and have enjoyed helping buyers and sellers meet their goals.
