João Gomes

João studied Biomedical Engineering at University of Minho (Braga, Portugal) and got his Masters degree in Medical Electronics by the end of 2010, with a thesis in the field of medical devices.

He did an internship for 13 months as a Junior KARL STORZ Marketing Specialist for TEPREL - Medical Equipment in Porto, Portugal.

Currently he lives and works in Madrid, Spain, being one of BRAINLAB's Application Consultant for Iberia IGS (Image Guided Surgery) since May of 2012.

He trains Karate Wado-Ryu since the age of 8. It is one of his greatest passions. He was the European Vice-Champion in Senior Kata in 2010, Venice, Italy.

Some of his hobbies are music, cinema, technology and traveling.
