I graduated from University of Coimbra with a Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering, with specialization in Medical Instrumentation, Biomaterials.
I have currently five years of professional experience, working in HealthCare Companies and Scientific Research Departments.
I developed one early biomarker for glaucoma diagnostics, and one software tool for vision rehabilitation in children and pre-adolescents with amblyopia and low vision. Currently I'm working in mobile tools to help optometry professionals.
I'm a former handball athlete, arts lover, and a politics enthusiast.
