Joao Beira

João Beira is a visual artist that explores the intersection between 3D projection design with interactive media. Integrated with his art practice, he is currently working towards a dual degree PhD at University of Texas and the University of Porto, Portugal, which focuses on the integration of sensing technologies with projection-based augmentations for live dance performance. He is also the founder and creative director of Datagrama, a visual performance art project. Some of his most notable works have included collaborations with artists such as Quixotic, Vitamotus, and Yacov Sharir.
