Joaquin Hernandez

Hello, I’m Joaquin. I’m a software engineer living in Uruguay, Canelones, Las Piedras also i'm studying in ORT, Licenciatura en Sistemas. I am a fan of programming, basketball, and cooking. I’m also interested in travel and technology.

I start working at globant since 2019 as a trainee in Java, now i've earned so much experience learning and working with my team.

I was quite scared at first since it was my first work experience in the IT field, because I come from a totally different career(Medicine). It was a great challenge for me, but luckily I was able to perform correctly and I was able to achieve the goals that the leaders were setting me.

First i work for a company from USA, call Metromile, here i gain the knowledge in microservice, OOP, desing patterns and others technologies

Now I've been working for 1 year and a half in LATAM Airlines, I've a lot of knowledge about the aeronautical system and new technologies such as, feing, dynatrace, stackdriver (GCP), springboot, grafana, also other techniques such as TDD, etc.
