"She's the real deal."

Usually we spend a little time together before someone describes me this way. I'm not even sure what it means but I like it.

The folks who say this about me are usually the kind of people that I call 'real' so if I may be compared to them, then that makes me happy. What's real about them? They are present - to themselves and the world around them. They can see me.

Then again, perhaps I welcome genuine spirits to stop at my door. I can be a bit shy at first, although to wear the careers I have designed, one has to embrace being stared at! I have experienced the power of connection, so with a password or two of understanding exchanged, I open up and engage.
