Jordan Obermeyer is a freshman transfer student, pursuing a marketing degree from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.
Originally from Austin, Texas, Jordan currently resides in Lubbock, Texas. What sets Jordan apart from other students is her outstanding academic performance. She transferred to Texas Tech University in spring 2015 with a 4.0 grade point average from both dual-credit high school courses, and from her previous college. Furthermore, Jordan also anticipates studying abroad for either a semester or a summer sometime during her undergraduate academic career. While abroad, she hopes to utilize the leadership and team-building skills that she has gained from her past volunteering and working experiences. Specifically, The Cleaning Authority, where she supervised employees and regulated the company’s social media.
