A native Washingtonian, Denise “DeeNice” Rhodes, a.k.a.: “The Digital Dynamo”, is a graduate of Coolidge High School in Washington, D.C. Her professional experiences include work as an award winning medical sales manager (for pharmaceuticals & cardiovascular medical equipment). She was the first African-American woman Territory Sales Manager in the Orthopedic Medical industry during the 1980’s. She also worked for Fortune 500 company: Hewlett Packard.

In 2008, through her Urban Progressive Foundation nonprofit, “DeeNice” assisted disadvantaged members of her community negotiate the digital television transition by organizing and hosting a panel discussion on “How to Avoid a Digital Disaster” with top panelists and senior officials at the National Press Club’s conference on DTV's Impact on Underserved. DeeNice Rhodes has also made presentations on behalf of Hewlett Packard on the Tom Joyner Sky Show Cruise and Women in Technology. She has been Interviewed on CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC and the Hispanic network. She has also been heard on national and local radio networks as well as many other venues. In her role as the “Digital Dynamo” she is committed to help people become empowered, engaged and excited to enhance their lives with technology.

“DeeNice” has been the primary care-giver for her elderly mother for several years while continuing to develop and conduct training from her digital curriculum. Her latest project is assisting the unemployed find work using social media.

In January 2013, The Digital Dynamo will speak at the Career Network Ministry of McLean Bible Church, Vienna VA. “DeeNice” has begun to reach out to veterans returning from serving our country to use social media to help them adjust to life after deployment. (http://www.jobhunting.biz )
