There are a number of great people described in the Bible who were rich, very rich. Job was the best man in the East. He lost everything and God restored double back to him! God did that for Job gave him double!

Abraham in the Bible is named the friend of God and the daddy of them that believe and he was very full of cattle, silver and gold. What about David? Solomon? The list goes on and on.

When Jesus died, it absolutely was Joseph of Arimathea, a wealthy man, who took care of the burial. He'd the means to do what he did.

Now I understand that there are some who'd argue that those mentioned previously were special individuals with special factors as to why they'd riches and that they were only the exception.
