jocelyn almodovar

Hi, I'm Jocelyn. I'm a junior at SUNY Cortland majoring in Communications with a concentration in Journalism and double minor in Business Management and Women Studies. It's a mouth full. I started off at Coastal Carolina, then went to Purchase College, and now I'm at Cortland. I'm a part time waitress at Applebee's, I was a Varsity volleyball player at Purchase, and I intern for my school's Health Promotion office. I also spend some of my free time being a SUNY Cortland tour guide, and next semesters editor of the lifestyles section for the Dragon Chronicle school newspaper. I've spent the day picking corn in the fields of South Carolina, I've had articles published in the Somers Record (One of which made front page), and I'm a twin and I love every second of it. It feels like I am constantly on the move and I like it like that way. I'm a future journalist, traveler of the world, child and animal rescuer, believer and basically just anything else I can tackle. Oh and I'm a Knicks fan (Giants and Devils too). I believe that one day we will live in a world of peace. That's my goal.
