Jocelyn Edin
Teacher, Designer, and Artist in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Jocelyn graduated from Stamps School of Art (BFA ‘99) and worked for many years as an art director and designer in the agency world. She now teaches courses at Stamps, works with select design clients, and creates watercolor art and illustration. She is also on the Board of Directors for The Ark, a non-profit music venue in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
A true blue Michigander, she is endlessly inspired by the landscapes around her, the lakes, the rivers, and the forests. Her work is influenced by travel, as well, and an endless curiosity for learning new things and observing the world around her.
Her watercolor style is graphic, detailed, and illustrative, capturing the essence of the moment, while also emphasizing the spontaneous nature of the medium.
