Hello!

Words invigorate me, whether I’m writing, editing (no turn-off switch for that one) or mingling. I was attending an effective communication event when the speaker asked for my favorite word. Without hesitation, I blurted, “Sandwich!” … Apparently a common response is one’s own name. Wordsmiths are kindred spirits though, and I’m guessing I’m not the only one who relishes in how certain sounds roll off the tongue.

In my career at Sprint, I am an Executive Communications Manager, speech writer and brand champion. I have also written for Sprint.com, mobile and retail stores. Formerly, I was a journalist at The Kansas City Star, including gigs as House + Home editor, FYI editor and Ink magazine editor. I appreciate creative, succinct storytelling that resonates with readers.

I live in Kansas City – where not everything is flat – with my husband, Jake.
