Jocelyn Simmons

I am a current third year student at The Florida State University where Media Communications is my primary major with Sociology being my second. I'm the current Event Coordinator for Peace Corps of the Florida State campus and I also run my own blog!

I have gained much experience in public presentations press release writing and planning events. Specifically, I'm efficient in facilitating a social media presence to expand new and current participation within my school organizations and companies I've worked with, as well as held a news anchor spot with my university's radio station

I'm looking for employment within the area to broaden my expertise in all aspects of communications. I'm inspired by communications, because it's the story that pushes the field and it's market. Communications evolves constantly and touches individuals differently, but it never fades. I want to bring a brighter light of “Conscious Communication” to the world; it’s not enough to bring facts anymore- we have to educate each other.
