I was born in Munich, Germany, in 1968. After an idylic Bavarian country side childhood my family re-located to South Africa when I was 18.

I enrolled at Johannesburg University at 19, but it was all too theoretical, so I became entrepreneurial on the side. I started my first business in 1990 in Johannesburg when I was 20, exploring a market gap for South African produced Graphic computer peripherals and software. Since then I have been involved in businesses ranging from publishing, sunbed distribution, suntan studios, South Africa's first energy drink 'Speed', a consumer Cider product, fragrance distribution and men's luxury fashion retailing and distribution.. There are some more :-), I have a lot of energy... HAHA

I have operated companies from 1 to 100 staff.

I lived in South Africa for a bit over 20 years and consider it my home. It definitely is one of the most beautiful countries on this planet, even though it has it's own problems, but which country hasn't.

To widen my horizon and develop more international business, I relocated to London in 2010 for a multinational Sports product company. Although quite a shock to my lifestyle (one can't compare the energy in London to Cape Town or Johannesburg), it was overall a good move, as I established many European and worldwide personal business contacts.

During 2011 I decided with my long standing business partner, Damon Giannoccaro, to re-enter the fashion business and be part of the immense China business energy. We opened our own garment manufacturing factory in Dongguan, China during February 2012 and in April 2012 I decided to re-locate to China, to be closer to the Chinese economic miracle :-). Since then, we doubled our client base in the factory and service retailers and fashion brands in UK, Holland, Norway, Australia, South Africa, Canada and the USA.

We specialize on a niche, which is highest quality and small MOQ's.

As obviously one business does not keep me too occupied, we have added a complete 'Soup to Nut' Service Model for Fashion companies worldwide, as well as a general Sourcing and QC Service Business, which we run through a Hong Kong based company.

I am also the Managing Director and equity owner of an emerging luxury brand - Chrome & Chase and through our HK trading company we are currently setting up additional businesses around the fashion industry, moving into retailing and franchising
