I am a researcher, consultant, and lecturer in the field of global child mental health and early child development. For 8 years I worked for the World Health Organization in Geneva where I had the opportunity to work on a number of collaborative projects with colleagues in low and middle-income countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. My program of research addresses the social determinants of mental health and focuses on the promotion of maternal and child mental health at the population level as well as targeted preventative interventions centering on the child-caregiver relationship.
