Jodi Myatt (born April 10, 1982) is an English entrepreneur, computer programmer philanthropist and author.
Jodi Myatt is currently the CEO and President of Bio Cybertronics Inc. a biometrics company that provides innovative vascular recognition technology and established solutions including fingerprint, iris, and other biometric approaches
Early life
Myatt was born in Telford, England the son and eldest child of builder Tony Myatt and Belinda Myatt, shortly after birth he was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart condition and endured a total of two open heart surgeries before he turned six.
In addition to this health struggle, Mr. Myatt's father a highly skilled construction worker instilled a core belief of hard work pays off, often working 7 days a week in all weathers.
Myatt was educated at Brindleyford County Primary school (now defunct) until the age of eleven. He then attended Thomas Telford School until the age of eighteen.
At the time of his graduation it was rated the number one school in the United Kingdom.
Business career
In July 2005, Myatt suffered a vicious encounter which resulted in third degree burns and multiple skin grafts to both lower legs.
It was from the hospital bed, that Mr. Myatt conceived and developed the architecture and algorithms for one of the world’s first vascular recognition biometric systems, drawing his inspiration from the pulsox that the nurses checked the oxygen saturation in his blood with several times a day.
Since founding Bio Cybertronics, Myatt has organized and built the company around this Cerberus product suite which empowers high-security industries to authenticate and authorize personnel based on the unique vein patterns and blood flow in the human finger.
Industries currently leveraging Cerberus today include: financial services buildings, hospitals, law enforcement offices, military facilities, and other high-security sectors.
In April 2010, Mr. Myatt began executing the business plan to expand operations into the United States from the United Kingdom.
