Jodie Copeland is a music writer, promoter and artist manager who founded mintsouth.com in 2006.

He has appeared as a paneliist on BBC Radio 5 Live's music review, had a weekly music column in the Daily Echo and his work has also been printed in the NME.

As the Regional Manager for the Southampton Oxjam Takeover in 2010, Jodie managed the event where nearly 100 acts played across 5 venues in one weekend, raising nearly £5,000 for the charity.

He is an organiser of the Music in the City Festival and also hosts The Road to Blissfields events in Winchester and Southampton - helping the festival to find the best local talent.

Recently, as a music manager, Jodie has been managing the upcoming singer Seán McGowan, helping him achieve national recogniton after securing him national radio play, festival slots up and down the country and creating a buzz he fully deserves. (Keep an eye on him, cos he's about to shake things up).

Jodie is currently studying a degree in Music Journalism at Solent University to "learn how to do it all properly".

He is in the process of of setting up a new music PR agency for emerging talent on the south coast.
