My sports career began when I was 4, when I started playing football for St Francis Flyers, At the age of ten, I moved into playing for Crawley Wasps. At the same time I was also competing at national level in Tae-Kwon-Do. It was then I achieved my Black Belt. My football career took off at the same time, when I was scouted for Chelsea Under 12's at the Age of 11.
I went on to represent Chelsea in all age-ranks and progressed to the Ladies 1st Team, competing in the prestigious Centre of Defence. I was scouted by England at the age of 14 to represent the U15's national side, and eventually progressed up to senior level. My football career was at the elite level from the age of 14.
I soon found a new passion for athletics – specifically discus. I became enthralled at school, when my PE teacher suggested I represent the school, which I did up to age of 16. While competing for the school I gained a qualification distance amongst all English schools, and as a result I won a free membership for my local athletics team, Crawley AC, where I went on to represent Sussex, Surrey, South East, and England. I suffered a knee injury at the age of 19. It took time to recover through rest and rehabilitation. As soon as I’d recovered I began playing, and then I left Chelsea in 2011 after 11 years at the club to go and play for Brighton and Hove Albion, where I competed for two seasons until retiring from the game altogether at the age of 22.
It was then that I decided to start martial arts again, however this time I thought I would give Muay Thai a try at Crawley Martial Arts Academy. I fell in love with the sport immediately and knew I had found something I was born to do. Straight away, I started imagining myself being a World Champion. I started Muay Thai in January 2013, and had my 1st professional fight in August 2014. I had my second fight in April 2015 and won by Technical Knock Out. I went on to fight in May, which was also a TKO and to then fought for a UKMF English title in June - which was only my 4th fight to date, which I won by unanimous decision. In July 2015 I competed in my first international fight against an opponent from Italy. I won by unanimous decision.
My hope and ambition is to progress to winning a British title within the next year, along with a European Title and before 2018 I want to have won or fought for a World Title.
